9 Months

I can't believe this time flew so fast. Orson is already 9 months and he's growing into such an intelligent and happy little boy. He eats lots of things now and he has 2 teeth! He pulls himself up to stand and says mom and dada and ladl-ladl which I haven't figured out what that means yet. He likes playing peek-a-boo and turning the page on his books. He LOVES music! He wasn't very photogenic when we took these but they turned out okay.

First Step

It's so exciting when your baby takes their first step. I think Orson found out he's not ready. He wanted to walk before he can stand on his own. He pulled himself up on the couch, turned around, let go and took a step and promptly landed on his face. He was pretty shocked. He pulls himself up on everything now.

Bath in the Sink

So our bathtub is out of order right now so I take Orson over to Grandmas to take a bath in the sink. He has lots of fun in the bath now that he can sit up. He splashes everywhere, hence the apron, and pulls himself up to stand.

8 Months

Well, 8 months was fun because it was right after Christmas. Orson loved opening presents. He crawls everywhere! He's also too smart for his own good. He hid a candy cane under the rug at Melinda's house and took another candy cane broke it and started to suck on it. Naughty! When we took that one away he took out the other candy cane he had hidden under the carpet, broke it by slamming it on the ground and then proceeded to suck on it. My little trouble-maker right? Anyway, I saw this outfit in Target and couldn't resist.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Due to complications and sheer laziness I haven't updated my blog in a very long time. We are moved into our home. We are so happy to be here and to be our little family once again. While the home needs a bit more work before I put up after pictures, it's still our very own and we love it. Orson has grown so much. I'll be putting his month pictures up since I haven't updated for 2 months. Dan is doing online school to finish up his degree. CU Boulder was getting too expensive and he also wants to be done asap. So we're back at "USU" doing online school. He'll be done this fall. YAY!

Seven Months

Orson is now seven months and is learning and growing so fast. He's 15 1/2 lbs and get longer everyday but I still need to measure him. He sits up, which he learned really fast. He army crawls and is to the point where I can't leave anything on the floor that I don't want him to get to... even for a minute, he's just too fast. He just started to pull himself up on his play yard from a sitting position. Orson is my strong little boy. He says mommom and I've heard dada twice but he won't say it again. He also has a new favorite youtube video. It's called The Dinosaur Song. If you haven't seen it, look it up, it's cute! And he'll watch and listen for a long time... over and over and over.

Bananas

Orson's first food was bananas and since he's had sweet potatoes, avacado and a pureed apple. Banana still remains his favorite, he LOVES them! These are photos from the first time he had solids.
