The Greatest Deal Ever Made!

So SURPRISE! For those who didn't know... Dan and I just bought a house! It's a mobile home in a really nice park. We got our home for a total of $1600.00. Great deal huh? So we're fixing it up and it is starting to look like an actual home. We're really excited for a place of our very own and no house payments, yay!

Here are the before pictures. The people who lived there before didn't do very good up-keep and before they left they put everything outside for garbage so we looked like a trashy home for a while. The previous owners also had ever animal known to man there... including like 10 cats! Yuck! Let's just say everything has been taking a while but it's coming and we've been blessed by having so much help!

I love the kitchen! This is my favorite room in the house! I really like the set-up.

So it was in ok shape but it's a lot of work to make it how we want. I'll blog more later but I'm going to spend some time with my little family on this spooky Halloween!

Scrapbook weekend

D'Laina and I went to Grand Junction to have a scrapbook weekend with Denein. Orson was pretty good on the drive over and when we got there we were all excited to scrapbook and spend time together as sisters. Tristan and Riley each had a day that they wanted Orson all to themselves and so I had good babysitters while I scrapbooked.
This is Orson on the floor in Denein's sunroom where we were scrapbooking. Denein took these with our camera.

Johnny was playing Xbox and D'Laina would put Orson in his lap so Orson would sit a minute and watch. :)

Desserts!

So my sister Denein makes this pudding cake that I wanted to make because I knew it took a while and I wanted family time with Dan and Orson. We found out that Orson is fascinated with the egg beater.

He also liked all the bowls on the counter.

Here's the finished product. Beautiful!

New thing to pacify

Orson started doing a new thing to pacify himself. He discovered his toes! He loves to suck on his big toe and he's really loud. I went to the Relief Society broadcast and he started to suck on his big toe. The ladies from the pew across the aisle looked over and started to laugh. At least he wasn't crying. He's so cute!

Without Further Delay...

Due to technical difficulties, my blog has been postponed until I got my camera to work. Dan figured out a way to get them all onto a computer but not the one that I usually use. But honestly, I'll take what I can get! I've still been taking pictures and have things to blog about that are all stored up so fasten your seatbelts and enjoy.

Let's Take a Nap

So my little brother Haelyn came and helped us on our house. He's a super hard worker and we got a lot done! Thanks Haelyn! And thanks Melinda and Michael! We've all been working hard and it's turning out really good!

While Haelyn was here, we played games, watched Conference, and Dan and I ran over to the house for a quick check on something and when we came back Orson had fallen asleep on Uncle Haelyn. This just shows how hard we worked :)

Creature in the Box

So I'm still having technical difficulties with my camera. I'm actually very upset at this point and I'm going to have to go to Target and put the pictures on a CD just to get them off the camera. But luckily I still have Melinda's camera to take pictures of things like this. ;)

Melinda and Orson went to get a box from downstairs and came up with a creature in the box. So Adorable!

Grandma Bridenstine

So we've been living with Dan's parents for a few months and whenever I get the camera out to take pictures I always forget to take pictures of Orson with Melinda. I told her about my concern about it one day and while I was in the shower she snuck some... and I found them :)

We also caught Eric on camera holding him. Eric has held Orson probably 4 times total since Orson was born. He gets really uncomfortable like he'll brake him.
