5 Months

Orson turned 5 months on a Sunday this month so he's in his adorable Sunday clothes. Dan and I walked to the park down the street and took some photos there. He was a little tired but I still got some good smiles.

Orson has learned to roll from his back to his tummy. So he rolls around on the floor until he gets tired. He's also started to babble and make cute noises. He loves to play with toys and still really likes being outside. He's also getting really good at drinking from a cup. He loves when I sing to him and when he's all worked up and needs to take a nap I've discovered that he'll calm down if (instead of humming) I sing little melodies saying mom mom mom. I thought that was interesting. Orson has discovered his toes and will suck on his big toe when he has no socks. My cute little bear :)

Busy, Busy... Dizzy

So I've been super busy! I haven't had too much time for anything on the computer, including my blog. I had a scrapbook weekend with my sisters in Grand Junction, we've been buying a home (HOORAY!) and we've been super busy with all our daily scheduled things. So this morning I was thinking to myself... "Hey, I should blog today" because I've been getting pictures of all the things I want to blog. I go to put my pictures from my camera onto my computer and whamo! My camera won't get the pictures off! I'm way bummed. But luckily the day we did Orson's 5 month photos, our camera was out of battery so I used Melinda's. Thank goodness! At least I'll have those to blog with for now.

So about my home! Dan and I have bought a mobile home for SUPER OOBER cheap! It's in a really nice community and the home needs work (it's by no means the Taj Mahal) but it our own space and since we only paid $1600 for it we can put in stuff that we want. I took a lot of before pictures yesterday and was going to put them up but my predicament (see above) kind of hinders me to do so. When I have it figured out I'll definitely put them on a post. I'm very excited to have this new place, and even though we won't be moving in for a few more weeks because we have lots of work to do, I'm counting down the days.

Labor Day

Dan and I had a really hard weekend. He took a personal day off of work on Labor Day and we just spent much needed time as a family. It was really nice to be able to have yesterday together. We went to lunch at Black-Eyed Pea.

We came back home and got ready to go swimming. It was fun at first. The pool was cold though and Orson's hands started to turn blue so we got out and tried to warm him up in the shower before going home. He is always so tuckered out after swimming.

We went home and ate dinner with the family and we all went to Sorcerer's Apprentice. We really liked it. Orson was so tired from swimming that he slept through the whole movie. And took a short nap on the drive home. It was a much needed day and our family benefited from it.

Mommy's Hat

I was wearing a hat one day and Orson was fascinated with it all day long so I let him wear it :)

Chors Amis (that's 4 months in Armenian)

My little boy is 4 months. I tried to take pictures yesterday but the cameras were doing weird things (as you can see from some of the pictures.) But I took some really cute ones today.

Orson has started to giggle when you tickle his tummy, but I can't get him to do it all the time. He loves red, he will stare when he sees it. He's also started playing with toys! Yay!

I spiked his hair in the basket pictures but it's so light you can't really tell. oh well.

I Love Mail!

I came upstairs the other day and saw I had mail. I love mail! Thanks McNinches for a lift in my day! The clothes are great and Dan loved reminiscing about high school.

Extra Extra Read All About It

I was just looking at the job section while Orson was trying out his new Bumbo. I thought it was way cute that he wanted to look at the paper with me. Dan must have thought so too because he took some pictures.
